The Village of Necedah

The Yellow River flows through the Village of Necedah and is a popular fishing and canoeing location. There are two boat landings and a dam that provides easy access for fishermen to the Yellow River. Many visitors come to Necedah to enjoy shopping for antiques, collectibles, Polish foods and hardware items. For those who enjoy eating at restaurants that provide a home cooked meal, there are several in the area. There are numerous motels and campgrounds that can give you a great place to spend a few nights while visiting Necedah.

The Necedah Wildlife Refuge, Wisconsin River and Wilderness County Park are located within a 20 minute drive from the Village. There are plenty of hiking, boating, walking and biking opportunities in the area. The Necedah Bluff and neighboring wooded areas are filled with wildlife. Most visitors that come to vacation in Necedah find out that it is a place that needs to be on a vacation list every summer.

The Village of Necedah is located at the intersection of Highway 21 and Highway 80 in Juneau County, Wisconsin. The Village is a progressive community with a modern library, three beautiful parks, a Business Incubator Building and a newly constructed Public Safety Building.
